Term 4 classes are creative development towards our end of year show “Lost Things” on the 4th December 2021.
Tuesdays at the ARC
5-8yr class 5.15 – 6.15pm
8 + class 5.15 – 6.45pm
Thursdays at the ARC
Minitumblers 4 – 4.30
5 – 8yrs class 4.30 – 5.30pm
8 + class 4.30 – 6pm
tissu 6 -7pm
Mondays outside (contact for location)
Adults Fitness 5.30 – 6.30pm

Training hours and options
Sprungsters (general classes) can train 1.5 (with their age group) to 3hrs/week (1.5hr Mon & Wed ).
12+ yrs & Adults could train from 1hr to 3.5hrs/wk.
Spring Kids is the performance group of Sprung Circus, extending their skills and performing in additional festivals, events and shows. Junior Spring Kids train 3.5hr base hours (2hrs Mon, 1.5hr or 3hrs Wed), Senior Spring Kids train 6 base hours (Mon & Wed). Extra commitment is required for rehearsal time and for participation in creative development, making sets, costumes and moving gear. Spring Kids may attend training camps, conventions and programs.
Class descriptions
Tuesdays
Minitumblers for Preschool ages 4 – 4.40pm
Minitumblers uses creative imagery and story telling for exploring movement fundamentals. All movement faculties are stimulated each class to improve spatial awareness, strength and agility.
Sprungsters 8-12 year olds 4.45 – 6.15pm
For older Sprungsters this class provides training in tumbling, handstands, aerial tissu and cloudswing, acrobalance, minitramp, and circus arts including performance, unicycle, juggling and stilts. Participants work at their own pace, beginners and experienced are welcome.
Aerial 6 – 7pm
The aerial class focuses on the Tissu or Corde Lisse with static strapeze also available. This is a beginner/intermediate class learning the climbs and holds, then a sequence of skills over the term.
Thursdays
Sprungsters 5-8 year olds, 4 – 5.30pm
For young Sprungsters our classes include all basic acrobatics, aerial and circus arts. The class is designed to inspire the natural agility of this age to sustain their intuitive physicality and body memory. Technique is taught alongside an imaginative story telling style of coaching.
12+ & Adults Acro 5.45 – 7pm
The teens and adult class is fun yet focused. Participants learn the strategies behind their training for skill progression with time for personal practice. We practice tumbling/acrobatics, partner acrobatics, aerials, circus skills and more. Beginners and experienced welcome.
Spring Kids
Hopefully will be up and running again soon. Spring Kids are challenged to extend their skills. This class is structured, following a levels program with drills and strength to develop skills progressively . Creative work for upcoming shows by the older Spring Kids performance groups may also be developed in this class.
