For older Sprungsters this class provides training in tumbling, handstands, aerial tissu and cloudswing, acrobalance, minitramp, and circus arts including performance, unicycle, juggling and stilts. Participants work at their own pace, beginners and experienced are welcome.
Junior and Senior SpringKids 5.30 – 7pm
This class is structured, following a levels program with drills and strength to develop skills progressively. Creative work for upcoming shows by the older Spring Kids performance groups may also be developed in this class.
Sprungsters 5-8 year olds, 4 – 5.30pm
For young Sprungsters our classes include all basic acrobatics, aerial and circus arts. The class is designed to inspire the natural agility of this age to sustain their intuitive physicality and body memory. Technique is taught alongside an imaginative story telling style of coaching.
Teens/adults 5.45 – 7pm
The teens and adult class is fun yet focused. Participants learn the strategies behind their training for skill progression with time for personal practice. We practice tumbling, acrobatics, aerials, circus skills and more. Lots of handstands- handstands are central. Confident beginners and experienced welcome.
Spring Kids 5.45-7pm
Spring Kids are challenged to extend their skills, this night is a specific advanced skill development session for Spring Kids.
Classes that we’d love to get up and running (register your interest).
Eventually we’d love to have three more adult/open classes available. Acro and Aerials on Tuesday, Groundwork for beginners on Wednesdays and Experienced Acrobatics on Wednesdays. Currently we have an introductory Beginners class for Adults on Tuesdays
Acro and Aerial open 6 – 7.30pm
This is a multi-aged class (Sprungsters, teens and adults) with a strong focus on technique in Acro and Aerial skills, progressions and sequences. This class will see you climbing and maneuvering with strong dynamic enjoyable movement on the tissu, static trapeze, partner balances and partner acro. Younger participants need to have some training experience (for training culture), but older participants with no previous experience are welcome.
Groundwork for teens/adults 7.00 – 8.30pm
Because it’s never too late to start – taking our time to develop balanced strength, flexibility, coordination, balance and mobility using gymnastics, aerials, yoga and other movement modes. Develop at your own pace in a fun social space.
